West of the main campgrounds in a separate area near Lake Roosevelt, the park's smaller lake, is the park's reservable Group Camp area. Available throughout the year, it includes a heated bathhouse.

The YURTs are round, high-walled tents with electricity, screened windows, and doors with locks. The rental includes cots, a lantern, stove, and ice chest. Each YURT accommodates up to six persons. Petit Jean is Arkansas' only state park with its own airport. One site is barrier-free to accommodate visitors with disabilities. This Arkansas camping site includes a modern bathhouse with hot showers and flush toilets.

Choose from 33 cabins 21 with kitchens. Most are within walking distance from Mather Lodge. Many are spaced along the bluff of Cedar Creek Canyon. Ten of the rustic-style designs built by the Civilian Conservation Corps are individual cabins that include kitchens. One cabin is in a separate part of the park and includes a hot tub. Most of the park's cabins are near the lodge.

One cabin is a short drive away. Choices include one-bedroom, three-bedroom, and studio cabin designs. The cabins are fully-equipped, and 21 include kitchens. Many of the cabins are spaced along the bluff of Cedar Creek Canyon. The nightly rate for each cabin is displayed by date and individual unit. Note that rates are subject to change based on availability and season.
